The more popular NCR Rangers in Fallout were founded in 2161 by Seth, a former Captain of The Shady Sands town guards during the events of the first fallout game. 

NCR Rangers are members of elite New California Republic Rangers operating in the Mojave Wasteland in 2281 tasked with the reconnaissance, long- range patrols and enforcing the law.

Also known for their exceptional skills and dedication to protecting the republic's citizens.
